What is a Car Broker?
What started out as a phrase clients use when they refer me to others, is now my professional identity. I want to be your car gal too!
As a professional car broker, with concierge level service, I work with my clients to help them identify the best car for their needs and budget, locate the car they want, deliver it to a convenient location (even their home) for a test drive and help them complete the purchase. I go out of my way to help my clients and will always be available to assist even well past the signing of the buyer’s order.
I have built an extensive professional network with auto dealers, finance companies and credit unions to help ensure you purchase is a smooth and worry free experience.
I pride myself in helping clients who do not know what the right vehicle would be for their needs. Once we get to talking, I get a better feeling of their likes and dislikes, which helps me make recommendations and usually find the perfect vehicle for them.

Hello! My name is Cheryl Mensch.
I have been a professional Auto Broker, working with a broad client base since 1995. My career in this industry began when I found a perfect fit at Automotive Avenues (AutoAves) in Lakewood, Colorado. The company shared the same philosophy that has led me, to take care of clients with the utmost honesty and respect.
AutoAves closed in 2023, but my passion for my clients and the industry was still strong so I decided to continue doing what I love but with an elevated level of service. Many of my clients have found that working with me is a nice change from struggling with typical dealership tactics. I work on your behalf to provide an experience that is as stress-free as possible. I help many older clients and others who may need vehicles brought to their homes and I’m sensitive to various conditions and am always respectful.
Clients appreciate that I listen carefully to their needs and desires instead of trying to talk over them and tell them what they need. I care and listen to what they have to say, and when appropriate, make suggestions for consideration.
I have many female clients who especially like the opportunity to work with a female auto broker who is willing to listen to their needs and wants which is not always the case with male brokers.
Get to know Cheryl
I fell in love with Colorado when I first came out here from Miami to ski. I knew then I would eventually make Colorado my home. In 1992 Hurricane Andrew gave me a helping hand to head to the Denver metro area.
I love to travel, and I am an avid animal lover! I find myself going as often as possible to the mountains of Colorado to hike or cross-country ski with our three rescue pups. My latest trip was to Aruba. The beach was amazing, but while most people bring back t-shirts, I fell in love with a rescue puppy that was on the beach. Our new addition is named Rue. Milo and Maddie were also rescued and as I say, they rescue us! We also have a cat that rules the roost.
I have been blessed with many of my clients becoming personal friends of mine over the years. Which is how the name MY Car Gal came about. A few of my male clients gave my name and number to their friends and family and said, “just go see My Car Gal Cheryl”.
